Indeed, we’ve been through a lot together. The pandemic caused people to experience stress, fear, sadness, and loneliness, contributing to increased anxiety and depression. People seem more empathetic toward those suffering from chronic mental illnesses because we, ourselves or those we love, have experienced it or have been adversely impacted. But we still have a long way to go.
On behalf of our employees and clients, we have donated $2,500 to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, known as NAMI. NAMI educates thousands through its programs to ensure that families and individuals get the help they need. In addition, the alliance hosts support groups for those with mental illness and those who care for them. NAMI also shapes public policy to advocate for the rights and needs of those with mental illness and drives campaigns to increase awareness through various events and activities. To learn more about NAMI, visit NAMI.ORG. We’re proud to have you join us on this significant cause.
